The Hernando County Utilities Department (HCUD) Water Awareness Series offers free monthly classes to educate participants on how to protect Florida’s water resources. Residents are invited to attend “Expect the Unexpected – Weather or Not” on May 10, 2019 from 10 a.m. to noon at the HCUD Building located at 15365 Cortez Boulevard in Brooksville.

Join Emergency Management Director Cecilia Patella as she guides class participants in emergency preparedness. Weather related emergencies are a fact of life in Florida, yet other situations may occur which create emergency situations for the community and our families. Participants will learn the most efficient ways to prepare for the unexpected.
