Imogene Lane Culvert Project

The Imogene Lane Culvert project entailed the placement of a cured-in-place epoxy-based liner within the existing 60” corrugated metal pipe that had been corroded. The pipe carries water from a creek flowing north towards Peck Sink. The project was completed in 2025 at a cost of $45,507.

Elgin/Keysville Avenue Retrofit Project

The Elgin Blvd/Keysville Avenue Stormwater Retrofit project was designed to address the problem of chronic flooding at the intersection of Elgin Blvd and Keysville Avenue. With every intense summer rainfall, stormwater runoff would collect at the intersection, particularly at the southwest quadrant. The project is a system of culverts and swales that drains the intersection to an existing catch basin. The project was completed in 2023 at a cost of $40,732.

Lark Avenue Culvert Replacement Project

The Lark Avenue culvert replacement project was completed in 2017 at a cost of $64,995.

Josephine Street BMP 6 Project

The Josephine Street BMP 6 Project was completed in 2018 at a cost of $401,000.

Watershed Management and Floodplain Mapping

The County Engineering Office has information regarding topography, storm water drainage, Watershed Management Plans, flood study data and County Capital Improvement Projects.

The Office also reviews Development Plans, responds to flood complaints, provides stormwater system maintenance, assists other County Departments in drainage matters and manages the county's National Pollution Discharge Elimination System Permit.
