Our Engineering staff is committed to providing professional quality engineering support services and cost-effective project management of HCUD's water and wastewater infrastructure system in Hernando County.  Some examples are shown below:

• Planning, design and construction of identified capital improvement projects that provide additional capacity for HCUD's existing utility system
• Private development review and permitting 
• Utilities capacity analysis review
• Interdepartmental project reviews
• Utilities review of FDOT road projects
• HCUD is a delegated authority of FDEP water and wastewater permitting for the FDEP Tampa office
• Utilities mapping and research
• Develop water and wastewater master plans along with future water and wastewater demand projections 
• Provide HCUD's technical standards and specifications
• Supply the Operations Division with assets needed to deliver quality service
